About the Course
This course meets the accepted practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training (ANSI/ASSE Z490.1) and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry and 1926 Construction, Fall Protection Standards.
Course Duration: 8 – 24 hours
1 Instructor: 10 Maximum participants

Technical Rider – Rigging Design or Drawing from touring production

Theatre grid layout if at a residential showroom
-
Work method (assessing and identifying the risk associated with rigging at specific venues and what to do in case of equipment failure)

Note: take weather into consideration if rigging outside

Health and Safety – First aid, emergency evacuation, ambulance, hospital

Venue Engineer – review drawings & weights hanging over head per point

Rescue (Chain of Command & assignment per riggers responsibility – includes equipment and personal) DON’T WORK WITH OUT A RESCUE PLAN!!
